Focus and Scope

International Journal of Development Mathematics (IJDM) is an open access, refereed development mathematics journal dedicated to publication of original research articles as well as review articles, with importance on unsolved problems and open questions in development mathematics and mathematical sciences carried out globally. IJDM offers an avenue of communication and conversation of ideas among workers in development mathematics and mathematical sciences (mathematics, mathematical physics, statistics, computer science), and provides an effective method of bringing novel results quickly to the public domain. In order words, the journal creates a formal medium, encouraging the field of development mathematics and mathematical sciences to be understood in a wider scope. It will include theoretical and experimental findings, basic and applied research that could lead to human development. All areas listed on the cover of Mathematical Reviews such as: pure and applied mathematics, mathematical physics, theoretical mechanics, probability and mathematical statistics, computer science and theoretical biology, are included within the scope of the International Journal of Development Mathematics as long as it is novel, relevant and it tends to solve development problem. The journal does not publish book reviews.
