Age-structured Continuous-Time Markov Chain Tuberculosis Model

Tuberculosis (TB) records an average of 4500 mortality cases daily and ins listed amongst the worlds infectious killer- diseases. this Study develops and analyzed a stochastic age-structured model for tuberculosis (TB) transmission incorporating exogenous reinfection and heterogeneous mixing between children and adults. The model is formulated as a continuous time Markov Chain (CTMC) with six epidemiological compartments. We derive the kolmogorov forward equation and prove the equivalence between the stochastic mean dynamics of the system. Numerical simulations illustrate the impact of treatment and recovery parameters on disease dynamics.
